Lasting Summer
So, the summer is coming to a close. Not that I have much of one as an adult in the corporate world, but our church shrinks in terms of adults now. Over the summer we run a summer program for K-6th graders. The morning is a reading program and the afternoon is vacation Bible school with some play time. We have interns come and they really run the program. When I was a young girl, yeah a little while ago, I always looked up to the college age and beyond women that hung out and were active with us younger ones. I always wanted to be that older women that was looked up to by the younger ones. This summer, God has used me that way. Unfortunately it took at least half the summer for me to make that kind of connection with one of our interns. Sarah is back in TX now and will be going to school in Abiline. I am going to Abiline in a little less than a month and will get to hang out with her. So, even though it has taken a little longer than I would have hoped, and actually thought I probably would never be that one, God has used me in His time.

Im glad you were praying for what you were praying for. Because either God brought me to you, or you to me. I dont care what order it is in... I just know that when I talk to you, I feel safe and happy. And I couldnt have asked Him for more.
I love you!
I just re-read this post and I really liked it. You were such a huge part of my summers up there and are still one of the people who I genuinely care about. I care about your opinion in my life and I care about how you are doing in your life.
I miss you. Alot. Well, more than alot and hopefully God will lead us to a place within driving distance some point in life, because that would be awesome.
Love ya!
